Slam Dunk Dust Jacket

In one of my Typography courses, I was tasked with creating my own hard cover book dust jacket. Channeling my interest in manga, I chose to create a dust jacket for the classic Shonen Jump series Slam Dunk. To create the jacket below, I photographed at a local basketball court and imported one of the photographs into Photoshop to create a duotone. I laid out the typography of the piece in InDesign.
