Events

In the professional toolkit of any photographer, event photography is an opportunity to bring the viewer into the spirit and action of a special moment. Events are a large part of public relations practice, and I am glad to have gained experience photographing events for past internships. Sometimes, capturing the perfect event photo requires split-second timing and an understanding of everything going on in a room or setting. The photographs below are some of those frozen moments, captured during The Salvation Army National Area Command’s “DC Youth Ballers” football camp.
